We were sorry to hear of Edna's passing. She was one of the Sowder's that knew all of the older Sowder's before they all passed on. Mary Lee {Keith} Taylor, Paul Keith, and Donald Keith.
Andrew, thank you for allowing us the privilege to care for Ms. Edna these last five years. Our lives were certainly more enriched having known her. Her absence from our daily lives is felt by all - residents and staff. She will truly be missed.

Andrew, please accept my sympathy. It was a pleasure knowing Ms. Edna. I was pleased that she and my mom was able to share a room. It made me smile to see her smile, it just warmed your heart. Thank you for sharing her with us.
Edna Sowder was my seventh grade English teacher at Ramey Jr. high , She was a kind and wonderful teacher . I remember getting an A in her class for doing a tongue twister, (Bittie Batter bought some butter.)that was in 1956 .she was a good teacher .
Edna Sowder was my FAVORITE Teacher. You could tell she loved her job and her students. Her smile was contagious. I'm thankful for the privilege of being in her class at Hillcrest Jr. High.
Oh what wonderful memories I have of seventh grade at Ramey in the room of Edna Sowder. Memories which have lasted a for way over 50 years. She was a wonderful teacher, and everyone knew she was definitely in charge of her classes. She always spoke of the gremlins in the steam heating system at the school.
