Edna Lucille Brooks Couch's Obituary
Edna Lucille Brooks Couch, age 97, of Fayetteville, AR, passed from this life Tuesday, August 3, 2021. She was born December 13, 1923, in Fayetteville, AR, a daughter of the late Claude T. Brooks and Grace Carney Brooks. Also preceding her in death was her husband Leland L. Couch. Edna was retired from Ozarks Electric Co-Operative, where she served as a receptionist for over thirty years, was a member of Elkins Church of Christ, a former member of the Washington Regional Medical Center ladies auxiliary, where she volunteered in the gift shop.
Survivors are a daughter, Cheryl Couch Ledford (Buddy) of Fayetteville, AR; a sister, Margaret Murphy of Fayetteville, AR; a brother, Charles Brooks (Carolyn) of West Fork, AR. and a brother-in-law, Larry R. Couch (Ann) of Springdale, AR.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5, at Nelson Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Visitation begins at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, at Nelson Berna. Burial is in Sons Chapel Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Gospel Tracts International or Willard Walker Hospice House.
