Edythe Cash Adams' Obituary
Edythe Cash Adams, 94, of Fayetteville, AR, died peacefully December 24, 2011, at her residence At Butterfield Trail Village. Born April 4, 1917, in Charlottesville, VA, a daughter of the late Troye and Robert Cash, she was the wife of the late Ray Adams for 43 years, and worked by his side at “Ray’s Flowers”.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Fayetteville, AR where she taught Sunday School along with other church activities. She was a member of P.E.O. Sisterhood.
Surviving children are a son, Alan Adams and wife Ginger of Annapolis, MD; and four daughters, Janet Fisher of Little Rock, AR; Anne and husband Ron Eddy of Little Rock, AR; Camille and husband Dwight Talburt of Russellville, AR; and Cheryl Yates of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by fifteen Grandchildren, twenty-nine Great-Grandchildren, her only sister Magaline Bass of Henderson, NC as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be a private burial at Fairview Memorials Gardens, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 30 at First Baptist Church of Fayetteville, AR, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel. A family visitation time will follow immediately at the church.
