Eldon Mosler's Obituary
Eldon L. "Shorty" Mosler of Fayetteville died June 25, 2003, at his home. He was born April 22, 1931 in Oswego, KS to Lois and Clyde Mosler. Eldon grew up in Oswego and as a young adult represented the Go-Getter 4-H club competing in state fairs throughout the area. He married Dorothy Moore in 1952. He farmed until 1976 in Kansas, then moved to Arkansas & managed real estate & other businesses. He most recently was the proprietor of Dot?s Diner in Cave Springs AR for 8 years. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was active as a scout leader, Methodist youth leader, softball coach, and sponsored student booster groups.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, his brother and sister-in-law, Delbert and Georgia Mosler of Altamont, KS, 5 children, Debbie & Jim Kitchin of Portland, OR, Julie Mosler of Portland, OR, Steve Mosler of Powhaton, VA, Sharon & Michael Ackerson of Fayetteville, AR and Mark & Kathy Mosler of Vancouver, WA. He is survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Graveside service will be June 28, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Oswego, KS, with Pastor Pat Robinson officiating. Memorial Service to follow at the Oswego Senior Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Washington Regional Hospice, 34 West Colt Square Suite # 1, Fayetteville, AR.
