Eliot Hartman Mooney, 3-month-old baby boy of Matt and Virginia "Ginny" Mooney passed away, Friday, October 27, 2006 in Fayetteville. He was born July 20, 2006 in Johnson, Arkansas. He is survived by his parents; Matt and Virgini Read Obituary
I heard about Eliot from several different sources and then finally viewed his blog written by his parents. I have been amazed at how many people were touched by his short life and how his parents always pointed to God. Thank you for sharing your joy and sorrow and through it all attesting to your faith in Jesus Christ. I pray that many lives will be affected for eternity because of your love and sacrifice.

Each child is a blessing, no matter his length of time on earth; he fills our hearts and minds with love and awakens within us the inspriation to share all the care, love and giving that is the best part of us.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have prayed for you on a daily basis. I remember our talks this summer and what hope you had. Believe it or not, God did answer your prayers as he allowed Elliot to enter your life if not but for a short time. Those three months of memories will last a life time. Once again, I am sorry for your loss, but rejoicing that Elliot doesn't have to suffer anymore.

Elliot graced us for a short time but each day was a gift from such a little one. Matt & Ginny you are in our prayers. Your faith has just amazed me and taught me so much about my walk with God. I have read about Eliot every week now and just been amazed. What amazing child to just have in your life even if just for a short time. I think of Jesus taking him in his arms and making his body whole and how awesome it is going to be for you to see him whole in heaven but most of all God has to feel so proud because he is not only holding Eliot but he is holding you and Ginny in the palm of his hand and thinking how Eliot came to this earthly world and touched so many lives and changed lives. I have shared your web site with so many people and it has changed their life as well. Eliot was a beautiful child that not only touched all you guys life but many others as well and that is not always easy to do. How proud I know your heavenly father is of you both.
