Ellen Gene Guinn's Obituary
Ellen Gene Guinn, born on November 17, 1934, in Bigelow, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on May 8, 2024, in Rogers, Arkansas. She was the cherished daughter of the late Benjamin and Anna Mae Francis. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Sonny Parten, two grandsons Michael Robert and Matthew Lee Forbes, one great grandson, two brothers and two sisters.
Ellen was a steadfast member of Elmdale Baptist Church, where her faith illuminated her life and those around her. Her commitment to her beliefs was unwavering, shaping her character and guiding her actions throughout her lifetime.
Professionally, Ellen served as a Judge's assistant for many years, where her dedication and efficiency left an indelible mark on the legal community. Her work ethic and attention to detail were exemplary, earning her the respect and admiration of colleagues and superiors alike.
Ellen's legacy of love and kindness lives on through her surviving family; four daughters, Christine Pingel, and her husband Warren of Rogers, Arkansas, Debbie Forbes of Fayetteville, Cindy White and her husband Sherman of Springdale and Angel Guinn of Springdale; Nine grandchildren Shannon Pingel and Sean Pingel and his wife Kerri, Trisha Richardson, Mandi Forbes Beesler, Mary Ellen Pollet and her husband DJ, Tommy Bailey, Liz Caudle and her husband Michael, Jacob Williams and his fiancé Lauren and Chance Smith and his husband Josh; 19 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren; and two brothers Ed Francis and his wife Carol of Canton, Georgia and Garland Francis and his wife Marion of Carson City, Nevada. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and unwavering devotion to family.
A graveside service to honor Ellen's life will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Fairview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Rogers.
