Nanny taught the grandkids how to bait a hook, bake cookies out of orange peelings, sew, make spaghetti soup, how to grow a garden, cook and can. She fed anyone at anytime. Nanny also taught us how to pray and be thankful for the small things. She always helped everyone and never asked for anything in return. She had numerous jobs and titles. Few people knew, but at one time she worked at the Pine Bluff Arsenal assembling explosives. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
