ELLIS GENE MURPHY
Ellis Gene Murphy, 65, of Elkins, died Monday, July 25, 2011 at Regency Hospital of Northwest Arkansas.
He was born June 28, 1946 at Fayetteville, the son of Winford Gail and Hazel Marie Barker Murphy.
He was retired from the Campbell Soup Company.
He is survived by a son, Anthony Murphy of Elkins; his mother, Hazel Barker Murphy of Elkins; a sister, Peggy Henry and her husband Don of the Round Mountain Community; a brother, Mike Murphy and his wife Jackie of Hogeye and three grandchildren, Anthony, Courtney and Parker.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, at Moore’s Chapel, officiating will be Rev. Jasper Hankins.
Burial will be in Round Mountain Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 pm Tuesday at Moore’s Chapel.
