Elmer E. Hemme's Obituary
Elmer E. "Ed" Hemme, 76 of Fayetteville, AR died Tuesday, April 22, 2003 in Fayetteville. He was born September 26, 1926 in De Witt, AR, the son of Elmer E. Sr., and Sophia Williams Hemme. He was a member of the United States Air Force, which he retired from as a Major and was a self-employed antique dealer in Springdale, AR. He was an Alumni of the University of Arkansas and a member of the Lambda Chi Fraternity and a past board member.
He is survied by, five sisters; Jimmie Hopson of Roe, AR, Jan Hilton of Monticello, AR, Sue McAnally of Thomasville, GA, Florence Chivaletta, PA, Patsy Hosford of ElDorado, AR and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Phyllis Fitts, Jo Flanigan and one brother, Clyde Hemme.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, April 28, 2003 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, AR with Chaplain Richard Hyde officiating.
