Elsie McSwain's Obituary
Elsie McSwain 92, formerly of Shelby NC, died on September 8, 2011 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Her celebration of life service was held on September 17, 2011 in Shelby, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jane and Caleb Eddins; two sisters, Lillie Mae White and Muriel Freeman; two brothers, Everett and Paul Eddins; and her beloved son, Mike.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters; Martha Smith and husband, Bob, of Fayetteville, AR, Catherine Derikart and husband, Frank, of Florence, SC, Rachael Fink and husband, Dan, of Matthews, NC and son, Bruce, and wife, Linda, of New House, NC.
She is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family sincerely appreciates the kindness and compassionate care extended to Elsie by Dr. James Norys and by the staff at Fayetteville City Hospital.
