Elva June Center's Obituary
Elva June Center, age 88, of Greenland, Arkansas died Friday March 1, 2013 in Fayetteville. She was born August 25, 1924 in Waterford, California to Leo Coleman and Jessie (Coleman) Morris. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenland and was a mother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Abbie Morrison, Nina Gabbard,Betty Shell and one brother, Clayton Coleman.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Claude “Jack” Center Jr.; two daughers, Loretta Baugus of Greenland, Arkansas; Bethel Spencer of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two sons, Randall L. Center and his wife Beth of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; Terry Center and his wife Karen of Fayetteville, Arkansas; 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday March 4, 2013 at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Greenland with Pastor Eric Howerton and Brother Rick Daniel officiating. Burial will follow the service at Brentwood Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
