Emma Jean Parrish's Obituary
Emma Jean Parrish, age 92, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020, at Windcrest Health and Rehab in Springdale. She was born on February 3, 1928, in Alma, Arkansas, to Grady Hampton Ingram and Johnnie Elizabeth (Griffith) Ingram. She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Parrish.
She is survived by her two nieces, Linda McSweyn and Donna Talv Lewis; her nephew, Mark Trulin; her grand-nephew, Matthew McSweyn; and her great-grandnephew, Grady McSweyn and great-grandniece, Hattie McSweyn. Except for her many years as an educator and teacher in California, she was born, raised and a lifelong resident of Arkansas.
A private burial will take place at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
