Eric Allen Fleming's Obituary
Eric Allen Fleming, age 36, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on May 6, 2026, at his home. He was born on May 26, 1989, in Springdale, to Wendel Fleming and Hannah Baker Fleming. Eric went to Fayetteville High School and attended NWACC in Bentonville. He worked as a sous chef in Colorado and Northwest Arkansas for many years. Eric led through life by his heart; he was always full of ideas and willing to try new things. He was the best uncle, gave incredible bear hugs and always made sure that the people around him felt loved. His passions included playing the harmonica and acoustic guitar, painting in all mediums, attending music concerts and festivals, and collecting Pokémon cards. Eric was an avid sports fan, always rooting for the Razorback Hogs and Kansas City Chiefs. His love was strong for family, friends, and all animals.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.D. Baker, Pat Baker, Bonnie Ruth Fleming Merrifield, and Jack Christie; and aunt, Chris Bronson.
Eric is survived by his mother, Hannah Fleming; his father, Wendel Fleming; sisters, Holly Fleming and Julie Fleming; nephew, Sol Fleming; his beloved dog Penny; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held, 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 15, 2026, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
