Eric and I instantly bonded over the Cubs and I always enjoyed his visits up to Canada. I will remember him for his lively spirit and sense of humor. My deepest condolences to Deb, Megan, Sean and the rest of the family. RIP my friend!
There are just far too many fond memories, so I will go way way back to the first one. We met on orientation day at Brindisi‘s restaurant in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The minute we realized we were both from Central Illinois, we were fast friends. And of course through my friendship with Eric I got to meet all of the garden of friends of his from his college days and before. There are way too many laughs, experiences, conversations, and memories to even tell them all. He will always remain a very, very treasured friend and will be sorely and sorrowfully missed. ❤️

Eric has been one of my best friends since beginning of high school. Although there are countless memories and experiences with him, I would have to admit that the early years through high school and college was the best times of my life. Together and alongside a handful of other close friends, we had more fun than anyone should ever have in a lifetime. There were a lot of laughs and stupid things accomplished during those years.
I also closely followed Eric through his music. He was so, so very talented in his lyrics and song writing. His life story was told through his songs, and it was a privilege to follow him through his journeys, whether good or bad. By far he was my favorite band.
I will miss him dearly.
