Esley Lathen Cox's Obituary
Esley Lathen Cox, age 45, of Rogers, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 in Rogers. He was born October 20, 1965 in Borger, Texas to Esley William and JoAnn Roberts Cox.
Lathen was an avid hunter and sportsman, and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Christi Jane Cox.
Lathen is survived by his wife Laurie Cox of the home; two daughters: Teresa Diane Mangold of Rogers and Rebecca Ann Barrett and husband Josh of Farmington; three brothers: Bill Cox and wife Nancy of California, Dennis Cox and wife Rena of Fritch, Texas, Ronny Cox and wife Caroline of Hindsville; his parents Esley and JoAnn Cox of Hindsville; four brothers-in-law: Floyd Phillips and wife Wanda of Bentonville, Don Phillips and wife Jane of Cave Springs, Danny Phillips and wife Wanda of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Charles Schmitz and wife Carol of Tonganoxie, Kansas; one sister-in-law Euva Phillips of Springdale; and three grandchildren: Riley Mangold, Kaylee Mangold, and Ayden Olivarez.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 14 from 5:00 – 7:00p.m. at Moore’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville. Funeral Services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2857 N. Old Missouri Road in Fayetteville. Burial will be in the Clifty Cemetery under the directions of Moore’s Chapel Funeral Home.
