Eva Mae Klug Harris' Obituary
Eva Mae Klug Harris, age 97, of Denison, Texas, formerly of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, in Denison. She was born on October 3, 1928, in Brentwood, Arkansas, to William Proctor Klug and Ethel (Shackelford) Klug.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cecil Harris; her daughter, Barbara “Bobbie” Englisbe; her sisters, Sybil Curtis, Bonnie Tomlinson, and Mable Gibbs; and her brothers, Cody Klug and Lil Charlie Klug.
She is survived by her son-in-law, Wynn Englisbe of Okatie, South Carolina; her sister, Fay Sparks and husband Jeff of Elkins, Arkansas; her brothers, Buster Klug and Carl Klug and wife Lucille, all of Fayetteville, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Lauren Englisbe of Louisville, Colorado, and Ross Englisbe of Porto, Portugal; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Moore’s Chapel, with a reception to follow. Burial will take place at Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
