I only knew Miss Evelyn in a business sense but grew to love her lots. No matter how much she was hurting or sick she always had that wonderful smile. I will miss her so much. I always looked forward to seeing her or talking to her on the phone! Always so pleasant. And what a testament to her LORD whom she loved. I am sorry about you sweet mother. In time we forget about a lot of people in our life or thing that happened in our childhood, But I remember all to well you mom and dad, spending many hours at their house or you guys at ours. What I would not give to have those days again, I miss my dad so much, as I know you will miss your mother. We have a lot of good memories to share with our children.
My beautiful Aunt Evelyn, I will miss you everyday but I know you, mom & aunt Leah are together again and probably giving grandma & grandpa all kinds of problems. I love you!

I remember the first time I met your Mom was at Jeremy"s 2nd Birthday Party at McDonalds She was so sweet and friendly She sure loved that little blonde haired grandson running around McDonalds She sure was a sweet lady
Evelyn Gilbert was a woman with the strongest faith I have known. She believed that Jesus was her Healer and She relied on Him through all these years and was not bitter but a blessing and a servant to others. Now, she has graduated to the Heavenly Hall of Fame.
