Evelyn Shea McDonald of Fayetteville, AR, left peacefully to be at home with her Lord on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. Evelyn was born in Natchez, MS on May 10, 1928. She is survived by her children, David McDonald and his wife, Read Obituary
Seeing Evelyn's name and photo brings back so many precious memories for us. She was a wonderful lady with boundless energy and a huge, caring heart. We are blessed to have known and worked with her at FBC Vicksburg and at Warren Central. Our love and condolences go out to each of you, her family members. May God give you His presence and His peace during these days.

I knew Evelyn from The Attic. You’d think stopping by a thrift store would be a mundane thing. But not on Wednesday’s when Evelyn was working. She’d run out from behind the counter and start hugging me. Then she’s take my hand and show me things in the store she knew I’d like. She got wind that I knew how to use the computer, so I started listing things on Craigslist for her. When we’d sell a high ticket item for the store, she was so excited! I saw her at the Veterans Parade one year and she grabbed my hand and took me to meet her friends. She always talked about her “girls” at the University. And I’ll always remember her high kick at The Antiques Roadshow! Evelyn made an impression on me and I’ll never forget her. My prayers are with her family. She spoke of you often and with love.
Evelyn was a real jewel, she always had a smile and was a friend to all! She will be missed by all she knew her. Vivian Hancock
Thank you McDonald family for sharing your mom with Kappa Delta. Mom MeMe was a warm, welcoming housemother for my daughters during their ΚΔ years. As parents, we appreciated her active involvement in the sorority and enjoyed visiting with her at the house. God blessed Mom MeMe with a charming personality and a loving heart that will be fondly remembered.

Evelyn was one of the sweetest women I have ever known she was like a second mom to me !!! My parents truly loved her !!!! Evelyn was a wonderful inspiration to anyone that ever knew her !!!! Heaven just received another angel !!!
