Evelyn Pearl Schaffer's Obituary
Evelyn Pearl Schaffer, 61, of Springdale, AR, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Born on August 4, 1962, in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Emanuel Charles Schaffer and Mildred Lee Austin Schaffer. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, sister Patricia Ramsey, and cousin Clyde Elvins.
She attended Door Christian Church in Fayetteville. Evelyn's passions included crocheting, a skill she used to craft heartfelt gifts for others, earning her numerous blue ribbons at the county fair. A talented musician, she played the violin and had a deep appreciation for all genres of music. Evelyn also enjoyed playing video games and engaging in playful banter with others in a childlike manner.
Evelyn is survived by her aunt, Rose Mary Austin; cousins Susan Elvins, William Elvins, Gary Elvins, Kathy Jones, Ralph Elvins, Jay Elvins; and nieces Crystal Wilson, April Ruggles, and Brittney Ramsey.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17, at Nelson Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, with services commencing at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
