Everett Leroy Jeffs' Obituary
Everett Leroy Jeffs, 87, passed away on April 29, 2026, peacefully surrounded by family, in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born on April 30, 1938, to the late Ernest Jeffs and Easter (Snow) Jeffs.
Everett was a great example of work ethic to live by. He worked for several years as a Produce Manager for Hy-Vee and United Foods in Iowa before moving to Rogers, Arkansas. After moving, he worked 15 years as the Produce Director at Food for Less and then 25 years in Loss Prevention and Security for Wal-Mart. He also served in the Army National Guard for 6 years.
He was an accomplished artist, working on drawings with charcoal and pencil. He enjoyed working on small engine repair and was an accomplished locksmith. He also enjoyed woodworking projects. He was a self-taught musician and played the harmonica and guitar beautifully. Everett truly enjoyed family gatherings, especially the 4th of July. He will be deeply missed by the entire family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Dixie Lea Jeffs; and their son, Darren Jeffs.
He is survived by his two sons, Marty Jeffs (and his wife, Phyllis) of Rogers and Tony Jeffs (and his wife, Le) of Bella Vista; four grandchildren, Lindsey Elkins (and her husband, Eddie), Chad Jeffs, Trenton Jeffs (and his wife, Amy) and Miranda Helberg (and her husband, Nate); eight great-grandchildren, Reagan Hendricks, Rhett Elkins, Canon Jeffs, Ivy Jeffs, Landon Jeffs, Natalie Jeffs, Ernie Helt and Chloee Helberg; his sister, JoAnn Wiley; and numerous other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Rogers Seventh-day Adventist Church with service to follow at 2:00. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rogers.
