Dr. F. Allen Roberds' Obituary
Dr. F. Allen Roberds, age 84, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on July 20, 2025, in Springdale, Arkansas. Allen was born on February 24, 1941, in Leesville, Louisiana, to Thomas Freddie Roberds and Mildred Marian Goodwin Roberds. He graduated from El Dorado High School in 1959. Early in life, he was a graduate of Pasadena Playhouse in California, and enjoyed a career in music, television and movies in Los Angeles. There he met his wife Marla Samson whom he married on September 25, 1976, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Later in life he went back to school, graduating from Texas Chiropractic College. He dedicated his life to health and wellness, running the Roberds Chiropractic Clinic in Nashville, Tennessee and Fayetteville, Arkansas as a chiropractor and acupuncturist, with his business partner Dr. Valerie Grevers, until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Ben Roberds..
Allen is survived by his wife, Marla Roberds; two daughters, Jennifer Shaff and husband Louis, and Claire Kolberg and husband Mark; grandchildren, Ethan Shaff, Sam Shaff, Ava Kolberg, and Anthony Roberds; sister, Dr. Bettye Morse and husband Dr. Michael Morse; nephew, Chadd Mason and wife Amy; their children, Georgia Searcy (Ben), Caroline Mason, and Jack Mason; and his great-great niece and nephew, Cal Searcy and Mason Searcy.
