Florence (Effie) Mae Cook Greenlee's Obituary
Florence (Effie) Mae Cook Greenlee, 88, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away, Friday, January 26, 2007 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born July 6, 1918 in Shamrock, Oklahoma, the daughter of Martin Luther Cook and Mary Ann Sullivan Cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Greenlee.
She is survived by three sons; Martin Greenlee of Rogers, Arkansas, Kenneth Greenlee of Strickler, Arkansas, Billy Ray Greenlee of Johnson, Arkansas, four daughters; Mary Barnhart of Farmington, Arkansas, Bertha Penticoff of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Hazel Frazier of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Frances Davis of Jay, Oklahoma, one sister; Daisy Bayley of Fayetteville, Arkansas, three brothers; Edmond Cook, Garland Cook and Lawton Cook all of Fayetteville, Arkansas, twenty-six grandchildren, sixty great grandchildren and thirty great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 31, 2007 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, with Pastors Jerry Henshaw and Cecil Case officiating. Burial will follow at the White Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Cook, Bobby Cook, Lonnie Gates, Roger Gates, Andy Greenlee, Johnny Hammond, Don Greenlee and Chris Pennington.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM, Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the funeral home, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM.
