Florence Thomas Killgore Stewart, 80 of Fayetteville died Thursday, July 10, 2014 in Fayetteville. She was born May 31, 1934 in Fayetteville, Arkansas the daughter of Stuart P. Thomas and Mary Rankin.
She was a graduate of Fayetteville High School and the University of Arkansas. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and also The Order of The Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Killgore, second husband, Kenneth Stewart and a son, Harold “Tom” Stewart. Survivors include her daughter, Betsy Gray and her husband, David of Lexington, TN; Son, Mark Stewart and his wife, M.C. of Ayer, MA; 3 brothers, Stuart P. Thomas, II and his wife, Joyce of Springdale, AR, Robert Louis Thomas and his wife, Gloria of Bowling Green, KY, William E. Thomas and his wife, Edith of Tucson, AZ; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. The family will receive friends at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home from 5 to 7PM on Tuesday. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Central United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
