Flossie Bernice Taylor's Obituary
Flossie Bernice Taylor, 90 born October 11th 1933, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away Sunday September 8th at Bradford House Nursing in Bentonville Arkansas. Flossie was born October 11th, 1933, in Lowell, Arkansas to Harvey McGarrah and Elsie Wolfe McGarrah. Flossie was a lifetime resident of Northwest Arkansas and was a wonderful and tireless homemaker for her family.
She and her husband Jackie enjoyed many joyful years of marriage, family, playing music in church and dancing every chance they got winning many dance contests. Flossie also loved gardening, sewing quilts and being a fantastic homemaker and cook. She loved gardening and all of the beautiful flowers that she could grow. Flossie loved the Lord with all of her being. She along with her husband, were ordained ministers before they ever had children. No bible in the home had ever been untouched. Marked and saved scriptures throughout. They played music on local radio stations along with other family for many years. Flossie loved the Lord and her family with all of her soul. She taught her children the value of charity, to love others, to love family and to love Jesus. She was a tireless matriarch in her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sibling brothers, her son Jack Taylor, her husband Leonard Jackie Taylor and 3 infant grandchildren. She is survived by her son Aubrey Kent Taylor of Pea Ridge, her daughter Trecia Taylor McClain and husband Tim of Garfield, Ar. and their children Brittany Vaughn , Bradley Vaughn, Savannah McClain and Michael McClain. and one sister Mary Morrison of Oregon. Also 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 2 great great granddaughters.
A visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Thursday September 12, 2024, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Rogers with Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Benton County Memorial Park under the direction of Nelson- Berna Funeral Home Rogers.
