Floyd E. Gabbard's Obituary
Floyd E. Gabbard , 81 of Fayetteville passed away April 7th 2011 in Fayetteville AR. Mr. Gabbard was born on December 13th 1929 in Blackburn, AR the son of James Elmer and Florence Dotson Gabbard. Mr. Gabbard was united in marriage with Betty Wilson on May 1st 1948.
Mr. Gabbard was self employed as a mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a special aunt Leora Unger.
He was survived by his wife Betty Gabbard , three daughters Connie Riner and husband Frank of Fayetteville AR.,Cathy Mayfield of Fayetteville AR. and Vickie Parker of Fayetteville AR, one son, Bryan Gabbard and wife Shelley of Lowell, AR., one brother James Gabbard and wife Gerri of West Fork, AR, two sisters, Ruby Woods and husband Steve of Kingman, AZ and Shirley Fitzgerald of Fayetteville, AR, six grandchildren, Lara Zardin and husband Keith, Lisa Stewart and husband Lenny, Nicole Parker Delaney and husband Jesse David, Jesse Parker, Amy Parker, and Matthew Mayfield, three great-grandchildren, Devon Gabbard, Fiona Stewart and Duncan Stewart, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Memorial services will be held Saturday April 9th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home In Fayetteville with Pastor Jonathon Beasley officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or American Kidney Association.
