Frances D. Livie's Obituary
Frances Deviney Livie, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, passed away from natural causes on December 19, 2013 at the age of 99. She was born to Jesse and Lora Deviney in Julian, North Carolina on November 14, 1914. Frances met and married Dr. Robert Livie, during World War II. Together they raised their five children in Anchorage, Alaska where she lived for 30 years. After her husband died in 1968 she went on to become a sorority housemother for 20 years. She then lived with her daughter in West Fork, Arkansas where she remained until the time of her passing.
Mrs. Livie was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, four brothers Dewitt, Kenneth, J. Norman and Mark Deviney; one son J. Norman Livie; two daughters Lora Lee and Ginger Livie; and one granddaughter Denise Henington. She is survived by daughters, Frances R. Bobbi Henington of West Fork, Arkansas, Cathy Williams of Bella Vista, Arkansas, stepdaughter, Tanya Pierce of Bellavue, Washington; four grandchildren, two great granddaughters and one great great granddaughter
Cremation is under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville, a private family burial will be scheduled for a later date.
