Francine "Fran" Mahone's Obituary
Francine “Fran” Mahone departed this life on August 7, 2023. A lifetime resident of Fayetteville, Ar. Fran was born to Mary Mae Blackburn Mahone and Curtis William Mahone Sr. on November 24, 1963.
Fran graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1982. Fran loved sports and was a member of the Fayetteville High School Lady Bulldog Basketball Team. Fran attended nursing school in 1992 and pursued her passion to care for others by working in Home Health Care for many years.
Fran was an avid Razorback Fan and loved to Tailgate during Football season.
Fran, also known as “NaNa” to her family and close friends loved her family more than anything. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, one sister, Tonette Mahone McBride and two brothers, Curtis Mahone Jr. and David Mahone. Her maternal grandparents Sylvia and Arnold Blackburn; paternal grandparents, Oakie and Aaron Mahone.
Fran leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Jawan Mahone, Ryan Mahone of Fayetteville, AR and Joshua Mahone of Waycross, GA. Two daughters, Brooke Thomas (Curtis) of Little Rock and Sylvia Mahone of Kansas City, Mo. Two brothers, Steven and Jamie (Amanda) Mahone of Fayetteville, AR. Three sisters, Yvonne Banks of Hughes, AR; Willie Mahone of Waycross, GA and Michelle Matthews (Charlie) of Fayetteville, AR. Two aunts, Robbie Isonguyo (Emmanuel) of Houston, TX and Regina Johnson of Fort Smith, AR. Three uncles, Jimmy Blackburn of Duncanville, TX; Paul Blackburn(Doris) of Fayetteville, AR and John Mahone of California. Fran also leaves six beautiful grandchildren who she adored to treasure her memory along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Memorial Visitation and Service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 1:00 pm with the Service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
