Frank Nathaniel Cumbie, 77 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Monday, November 27, 2006 in Fayetteville. He was born September 1, 1929 in Greenwood, AR to Lee Everett Cumbie and Cora (Barrett) Cumbie.He was retired from Campbell Soup Company and Adult / Community GED Education. He was a charter member of the Evening Lions Club, Washington County Retired Teachers, Boy Scouts of America Troop 102, Fayetteville First Baptist Church, and a U.S.Army Veteran of the Korean War.He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter; Melissa Lee Cumbie, three sisters; Bonnie Carson, Lavona Tuckel and Kathryn Ebbrecht.He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Frances Jenkins Cumbie, two sons, Curtis Cumbie and wife Joyce, Don Cumbie both of Fayetteville, one brother, Roger Cumbie and wife Betty of Prairie Grove, AR, one sister, Ellouise Cumbie Gibson of Austin, TX, and one granddaughter, Kaylee Cumbie of Fayetteville, AR.Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with the family present to greet friends from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 30, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Fayetteville with Brother Jerry Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville. Pallbearers will be Lance House, Chester George, Brian Stone, Gerald Province, Jason Province, Justus Penka, Adrian McGlaughlin and Jacob Brewer.
