Frank Edwin Winscott's Obituary
Frank Edwin Winscott, age 91, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on November 26, 2023, at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on October 4, 1932, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Ovie Addison Winscott and Bernice (Gorham) Winscott. Frank served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He graduated from LeTourneau University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1957. Frank married Carolyn Garner on April 4, 1957, in Longview, Texas. Frank held a professional engineering license and spent the majority of his career as Chief Mechanical Engineer at Johnson & Johnson.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Ovie and Bernice Winscott, and brother, Jack Winscott. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carolyn Winscott; two sons, Mark Winscott and Gary Winscott and his wife Kelly; grandchildren, Joshua Winscott and Caleb Winscott; granddaughter-in-law, Brett Winscott; great grandchildren, Walker Todd Winscott and Brighton Leigh Winscott; and sister, Joyce Bunch.
A celebration service will be held at 10:00 a.m., December 6, 2023, at Fellowship Bible Church in Lowell, Arkansas. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., December 6, 2023, at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville. To leave an online tribute, please visit www.bernafuneralhomes.com.
