Fredlene Irene Moore's Obituary
Fredlene Irene Moore, age 85, passed away, Saturday, November 12, 2022, in Fayetteville. She was born August 20, 1937, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to the late Alta and Ruby (Carpenter) Meneley. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Loyd William Moore Sr.; her son, Kenneth Dale Moore; her infant daughter, Rita Kay Moore; her siblings’ Bella Vancil, Roberta Lamkin, Imogene White, Monroe Meneley, and Ronnie Meneley.
Fredlene was a devoted mother and wife. She stayed home to raise her children and excelled as a stay-at-home mother. She enjoyed working in the garden with her husband and would help Loyd run his vegetable stand. After raising her children, Fredlene rejoined the workforce as a talented seamstress for Levi’s and Wranglers. She was a devoted member of Living Faith Church in Fayetteville.
Fredlene is survived by her son; Loyd Moore Jr, of Lincoln; her daughter, Fredia Sawin, and her husband Harlan of Fayetteville; her son Michael Moore of Huntsville; her grandchildren, Holly Lowery and husband Chris, Courtney Knight and husband Brady, Dean Sawin, Amber Curtis and husband Austin, Malinda Masterson and husband Tildon, Tina Moore, Tracy Moore, Amanda Moore; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister Sue Meneley Smith; and a host of extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held, Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Moore’s Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held, Friday, November 18, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Salem Cemetery in Henryetta, OK.
