When I came weekly to see Anne for a sound healing session, Mom was always right by the door, happy to see me and chat for a few moments until Anne came down. She was always cheerful and so genuinely caring about how I was doing. And she ALWAYS prompted Anne to make sure she turned on the outside light as I was leaving, so I'd be safe. Such a sweetheart was Mom!
Gail was like a grandmother to my two children, Grace & T.J. Her kindness, wit, patience, wisdom, and listening ear were also a welcome refuge for me over the 25+ years I knew Gail. She never failed to give me either sage advice or crack a dry joke, depending on what the situation called for & what she thought I needed (sometimes both). I was indeed grateful to know her and considered her a motherly influence in my life. Gail exhibited SO much patience when she taught both of my kids countless board games, including Rummikub. She was truly the master of this game & I was in awe every time I watched her beat the pants off of all her opponents!! Gail was always interested in the kids’ school grades & sports activities, listening to their countless stories at each visit or call. She will be terribly missed by the 3 of us but her memory lovingly treasured. ✝️
Miss Gail was Always so very kind, sincere, and supportive. She truly loved you Anne with her whole being. The two of you had a very special bond as mother and daughter. Your hearts were like one. I don't think there was anything that you or your mother wouldn't do for each other.
Dennis and I can honestly say that Anne extended her precious mother's life and quality of life by many years. We witnessed this in Houston at MD Anderson. And... we were there because of Anne and her determination to get Coach to the Best specialists for his cancer. We will always be grateful and Blessed for Anne and all that she did for Dennis.
God placed us all in Houston together a couple of times with one time being during Miss Gail's treatments. And He even enabled Miss Gail, Anne, Todd, Dennis and I to enjoy each other's company with a very nice dinner and some reminiscing. That was an extra special evening.
We live in Gratitude today knowing that Anne's cancer research and her connections to the very best oncologists at MD Anderson have given Coach many years with us. And that same determination and research and love gave Miss Gail many more good years with Anne and Todd.
You both are in our prayers. Lean on each other for support. Miss Gail is now in her Heavenly home for all eternity. And Anne, you have a very special Guardian Angel with you Always.
