Garlan Dean Reading of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away peacefully on November 2, 2015 with his family by his side. He was a committed husband and a loving and encouraging father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his Read Obituary
Our condolences to the family. I didn't know Garlan personally, but have known Kent and Clesha for several years. Kent is a kind and generous man who learned by example. You only had to listen to Kent talk about his dad to know how much he loved and respected him. My husband Steve and I are very sorry for your loss.
You have my thoughts and prayers..although I have been gone from Fayetteville for many years I remember all of the wonderful Reading family. I know Garlan will be deeply missed but he has left a true legacy with his family.

Georgia, Teresa, Denise & Kent, I was so sorry to learn about your husband/dad. He was a wonderful man and I had such good times at your house. I miss seeing all of you and would love to reconnect. My mother sends her condolences too and Daddy would too, if he were still with us. I'll pray for you all to get through this initial time without him. It is a time to draw strength from each other and your faith.
Enjoyed Garlan's friendship for many years. Good Cattleman and good sense of humor. Reading family we will miss him but he is with our Father now he made it home.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Garlan at I-40 livestock several years ago he always had time to visit with you no matter how large or small your livestock operation was he will be missed by those that ever met him.Mrs Georgia, Kent, Teresa, and Denise so sorry for your loss my thoughts and prayers will be with you.
