Gary Ray Delzeit's Obituary
Gary Ray Delzeit, age 67, of Rogers, AR, passed from this life Saturday, October 23, 2021. He was born September 22, 1954, in Hastings, NB. Preceding him in death were his parents, Leonard Eugene Delzeit and Zula Delma Preston Delzeit Horinek; a brother, Corky Delzeit, and a sister, Jackie Gilkerson. Gary was a retired manager for Hobby Lobby and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era. He was a Christian, loved all sports, especially the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs. He liked to garden and work in his yard. Feeding and watering the birds, along with hiking and bicycling were also some of his favorite pastimes.
Survivors are his sisters, Linda Lunsway of Bentonville, AR, Patricia Ann Casey of Wichita, KS; his twin brother, Terry Delzeit of Manhattan, KS, a brother, Larry Horinek of Colby, KS.
Graveside service with urn placement will be held Friday, November 12, at 1:30 p.m. in Fayetteville National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Nelson Berna Funeral Home of Rogers.
