Gary Garton's Obituary
Gary Garton, age 61, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, November 28 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.
He was born February 19, 1951 in Springdale, Arkansas the son of Kenneth and Diamond Grigg Garton. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Vicky Hillian.
He was one of the founders of the Bank of Fayetteville and served in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Garton; two sons, Jason Garton and his wife Amber of Fayetteville; Travis Garton and his wife Polly of Fayetteville; mother Diamond Garton of Fayetteville; a step-son, Trey Wahl and his wife Julie of Ft Smith; his sister, Debbie Langston of Fayetteville; one brother, Brett Garton of Springdale; six grandchildren, Isabel Garton, Charlie Garton, Stella Garton, Vivi Garton, Marley Wahl and Brady Wahl.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m., Monday, December 3 at Ridgeview Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
