Gary Louis Nielsen's Obituary
Gary Louis Nielsen, age 82, of Fayetteville, passed away February 15, 2022. He was born in Tyler Minnesota on October 9, 1939 to Arne and Gladys Nielsen. He resided in Fayetteville, Arkansas where he met his soulmate Joyce Nielsen and were married 60 years. He was a wonderful father to his family of four girls Charlotte, Pamela, Melissa, and Tricia. He was loved by all of his grandchildren Courtney, Dylan, Annie, Stephanie, Jacob, Joshua, Mallory and Connor and great-grandfather to Salem and Harvest. He was survived by his sister Janice Jamison and preceded in death by his wife Joyce Nielsen and siblings Jerry Nielsen and Roger Nielsen.
He was a wonderful role model and the rock for our family. He was always there when we needed him. He was a man of few words, but when he spoke we listened because he had a wealth of knowledge to pass along. He was always willing to help anyone and everyone with anything they needed.
We know that we can no longer have you but we are at peace knowing you are with mom in Heaven. Goodbye to the greatest person and most loving father.
Visitation will be 4:00pm - 6:00 pm, Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Moore's Chapel. Graveside service will be 10:00 am, Monday, at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
