Gene M. Field's Obituary
Gene M. Field, age 96, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, April 7, 2020. He was born March 10, 1924 in Ramona, Oklahoma, the son of Homer and Carrie Winfrey Field. He was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn Field.
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was retired from Amoco Oil having lived in Ulysses, Kansas, and then in Cairo, Egypt, at the end of his career. He and JoAnn retired to Bella Vista living over 40 years there enjoying golf with family and friends and also spending winters in Florida where their son and family lived. He attended Village Bible Church in Bella Vista.
He is survived by a son David Field and his wife Lonna of Tampa, Florida; a daughter, Debby Keaton and her husband Larry of Fayetteville; five grandchildren Tory Arnett, Jonathan Field, Shane Keaton, Dana Stone, Wade Keaton and twelve great-grandchildren.
There will be a private service with internment at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
