Gene "Whitt" Whittington's Obituary
Gene “Whitt” Whittington, age 81, of Bentonville passed away Wednesday September 9, 2020 in Bella Vista. He was born July 22, 1939 in Utica, Mississippi the son of Kelly Merle and Lotus Bartley Whittington. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Darryl Eugene Whittington and a sister Eva.
He retired from the papermill in Saint Francisville. He was firm believer in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was of the Full Gospel Faith. He loved to fish, ride motorcycles and camping.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Anne ; two sons Russell Whittington and his wife Lisa of Zachary, Louisiana and Duane Whittington of Springfield, Missouri; a daughter Rebecca Ferry and her husband Jim of Bentonville; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and numerous other family members.
Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Tuesday September 15, 2020 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Service.
