George Leonard Harter's Obituary
George Leonard Harter, 87 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in Fayetteville. He was born November 1, 1927 in Avalon, Catalina Island, CA to George L. Harter and Louise K. (Schade) Harter. He was a retired insurance examiner for Trans American Insurance Company and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his son Gary Neil Harter.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Harter, three sons, Lance Harter and wife Kim of Fayetteville, AR, Larry Harter and wife June of Las Vegas, NV, Glenn Harter and wife Sue of Granite Bay, CA, daughter in law Barbara Harter of Lubbock, TX, eleven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
