George Orlen Stowe's Obituary
George Orlen Stowe-Rains, 81 of West Fork died Thursday, February 20, 2014 in Fayetteville. He was born March 17, 1932 in Yolk, Nebraska the son of George Stowe and Inez McDougal.
He married the former Shirley Reimers on July 31, 1951 in Loveland, CO. He is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Fayetteville and loved to visit Jake’s Coffee Shop in West Fork morning and evening. He also loved to watch his TV shows. He was preceded in death by a son, Douglas George Stowe-Rains, 9 brothers and a sister. Survivors include his wife of 62 years Shirley Ann Stowe-Rains of the home; daughter, Sharene Georgette Stowe-Rains of Lincoln, AR, George Paul Stowe-Rains of Fayetteville; 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the church from Noon till service time on Wednesday. Funeral service will be 1:00PM, Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Trinity United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
