George Rochier's Obituary
George Rochier, 87 of Springdale, AR passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014 in Fayetteville, AR. He was born April 25, 1926 in Fayetteville, AR to Joseph H. Rochier and Amo B. (Evans) Rochier.
He was a U. S. Navy veteran serving during World War II, and received a purple heart. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Springdale. He worked as a cook in several venues including Mary Maestri’s and the VA. He pastored an Assembly of God church in Timpson, TX and was a graduate of Southwestern Assembly of God University in Waxahachie, TX.
He is survived by one son, Marvin Rochier of Blytheville, AR, one daughter, Debbie Walker of Memphis, TN, one brother, David Rochier of Dallas, TX, six grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday April 1st at First Assembly of God Church in Springdale, AR with Reverend Bob Fant officiating. Burial will follow at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
