George W. Guthrie's Obituary
Mr. George W. Guthrie, 73 of Holiday Island, AR passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2004 in Fayetteville, AR. He was born August 19, 1931 in Omaha, NE to George W. and Ella Alice (Wisehopple) Guthrie. He was a retired manufacturing representative, a member of the Presbyterian Church, and a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife Lee Guthrie, two daughters, Terri Lyn Guthrie and Jill Guthrie both of Holiday Island, one son, Todd Jay Guthrie of Bixby, OK, one sister, Dolores L. Thompsett of Omaha, NE, and three grandchildren.
Memorials services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, October 2, 2004 at Holiday Island Presbyterian Church followed by a reception at Holiday Island Elks Lodge.
Memorials may be made to the Holiday Island Presbyterian Church or to the National Kidney Foundation.
