Georgie Lee Fant's Obituary
Georgie Lee Fant, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was called home on June 26, 2023. Georgie was born September 29, 1942, to George Heller and Gertrude (Goodwin) Heller in Little Rock, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Earnest William Fant.
She is survived by John Michael Fant (son), Phyllis Fant (daughter in law), granddaughters: Nova-Dawn, Nyssa, and Stevie. Laura Lea Fant Cannon (daughter), grandsons: Brad, Brian and Matthew. Grandchildren: Ephriam, Victoria, Killian, Hailey Jo, Brayden, Emily, Henry, Hawk, Zion, Kenzi, Preslea, Ksenia, Lucian, and Katara. She is known to her great grandchildren as Triple G (3G). A church nursery care provider over thirty years in Garland and Lubbock Texas, and Fayetteville Arkansas. Known to those many children as Miss Georgie and to their parents as Sister Georgie. As a homemaker she is known as Georgie Gal. Deeply cherished by her husband and children. Attended Little Rock Central High School and University of Arkansas Fayetteville.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm on July 5, 2023, at Fayetteville National Cemetery. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Earnest. Services are entrusted to Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. To place an online tribute, please visit www.bernafuneralhomes.com
