Gerald was my 2nd cousin and I remember the days of going to Paris, AR and having lunch with him and his mother, Emma when I was a child. He always called her "mother." His mother lived with him as his dad had died when he was 17 yrs. old. When he and his mother lived in Russellville, AR where I grew up, my husband, Bill, and I would often visit Aunt Emma and Gerald when Bill and I were dating. In just recent years we would visit them in Little Rock as they lived in Bryant, and would go out for dinner every time we were in Little Rock visiting our friends where we had formerly lived. Dinner night with Glenda and Gerald was so much fun. We will miss those dinners with them. However, now that Glenda is in Rogers, AR we are so much closer as we live in Owasso, OK. So we will continue the dinners with Glenda. Glenda, Bill & I both loved Gerald; we will miss our time we got to spend with you both. He was a good man, a good father to the girls and a good cousin to us. May he rest in peace!
