Geraldine Peoples' Obituary
Geraldine Peoples, 79 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014 in Fayetteville. She was born May 27, 1935 in Rockingham, N.C. to Hughie and Johnsie (Manor) McKenzie.
Geraldine was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who maintained a warm and lovely home for her family. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Pat Boone.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Buddy Peoples, three daughters, Julie Roetzel of Fayetteville, AR, Donna Hanna of Fayetteville, AR, Abbie Moloney of Long Island, NY, nine grandchildren who deeply loved their grandma “Dean”, four great grandchildren, three brothers, and one sister.
A private family graveside was held Saturday, December 6th at Son’s Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Charlie Foster officiating.
