Biography
Gertrude “Trudy” Eads age 84 of Farmington, Arkansas died Monday, June 27, 2011 in Fayetteville. She was born December 30, 1926 in Fayetteville, Arkansas a daughter of Otis and Hazel Thompson Weir.
She was an active member of Christian Life Cathedral where she was a member of the Primetimers. She was a homemaker and her life revolved around caring for her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Eads, a brother Keith Weir, and a sister, Betty Graue.
She is survived by one son, Kevin Eads of Springdale, AR, three daughters, Karen Baker and Kathy Skelton both of Springdale and Connie Teague of Wesley, AR, two sisters, Marilyn Graue of Springdale and Loyce Ardemagni of Tontitown, AR, eight grandchildren, Greg Baker, Lori Sisemore, Cindy Fallen, Melissa Lowery, Lacy Teague, Kenny Skelton, Kelly Skelton, Kim Novotny, and fifteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Christian Life Cathedral with Rev. Steve Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Mount Comfort Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Chapel.
