Rispettosamente,
Alanna

Gianni had a wonderfully curious mind- thoughtful, philosophical, humanitarian. The world was a better place with him in it and we will miss him.
Gianni Danti
Born in Florence Italy, educated at the University of Life (with help from the U of A), and rooted in the Ozarks. Linguistics scholar, lifelong seeker, honorable merchant, noble farmer.
No matter what the topic, Gianni had an opinion about things unlike any other, and whether you agreed with him or not, you had to admire his convictions.
Often the defender of the underdog or unfortunate, he always made you think about things that might make you somewhat uncomfortable, but that was a good thing. Often after a long discussion, you were left with the feeling that you had gotten really close to figuring this thing out. Occasionally, reality would hit, and you were still thinking about the discussion days later.
I learned things from this man that are a part of me now, yet I did not realize it changed me at the time.
A little bit of Gianni will always be a part of me in a profound way.
He was a man of the world who settled in Northwest Arkansas. We must have needed him.
See ya later my friend.
