Gladys Totty Taylor's Obituary
Gladys Totty Taylor, 72 of Springdale, AR died Wednesday at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. She was born January 27, 1939 in Memphis, TN to the late Betty Lee Totty and Jesse Dick Totty.
Gladys married James Fussell “Jim” Taylor on June 20, 1964 and they resided in Forrest City for nearly 30 years.
Missing her laughter and love are her husband Jim; son Jimmy and his wife Julie and children of Atlanta, GA; daughter Virginia Taylor Kelsey and children of Springdale, AR; son Stephen Taylor and his wife Candace and children of Fort Smith, AR. Her sister Irene and husband Jack Colley of Memphis, TN and their four sons also survive Gladys.
While in Forrest City, Gladys was a long time member of Beta Sigma Phi women’s sorority. During her professional career, Gladys was an executive assistant for the Holiday Inn Corporation in Memphis and held a similar role for Warwick Electronics in Forrest City. She also co-owned the Century 21 office with her husband, Jim.

Services will Take place at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday September 6, 2011 at First United Methodist church in Forrest City, Ar. The family will be staying at the Best Western motel in Forrest City. They will arrive on Monday.
