Glen David Blakney's Obituary
Mr. Glen D. Blakney, age 72, of Mount Gaylor, Arkansas, passed away on July 11, 2026, at Springdale Health and Rehab in Springdale, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents Warner and Mabel Blakney, sister Jimmye, and brother Mike.
He is survived by his wife Andrea, son Travis, daughter-in-law Jennifer, granddaughter Fern, brothers Gary and Rob, sisters Cindy and Joyce, and many other beloved family members.
His graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16 at Redmen Cemetery in DeQueen, Arkansas, where he grew up, lived, and worked for many years. A memorial for other friends and neighbors will be held in Northwest Arkansas later this fall.
The family wants to thank the kind staff at Springdale Health and Wellness and Elite Hospice for their diligent care, and in lieu of flowers, they ask that you find and make peace with someone you love.
