My deepest sympathy to all of the family. Dean Hardy, as he will always be remembered, was a wonderful influence for so many students. His reputation for support students in all ways possible to avoid academic failure is the model all deans should emulate. His personal note when my father was killed was cherished by Mom. I found this 40 years later as I was cleaning out her personal belongings. I got to work beside him and could share many other stories, mostly about his driving, but the most memorable is his student stories. He was one of a kind and will surely be missed.

It was a pleasure to work with Glenn Hardy when we worked in the dean's office of Agriculture and Home Economics many years ago. He was a great dean and fun to work with. I'll always remember his laugh and his smiling eyes. He loved working with the students and was a good mentor. So sorry to hear of his passing. He was really a good man who had a kind heart. Rest in peace Dr. Hardy, you are missed!!

It was a pleasure to work with Dr. Hardy. I first meet him as an undergraduate student and later worked in the same department with him. He embraced the sentiment that working with students was his greatest calling. His attitude, service, and quest to help students graduate from the UA was foremost on his mind each day. I have good stories to tell about his driving which always bring a smile when I recall them. He served the college well.
