I hardly know where to start regarding my dear friend, Gloria. Words will most assuredly fall short, but let's try. I first met Gloria in the 70's when she approached me after hearing my group sing. I had heard of her by that point but had never had the privilege of meeting this remarkable lady. She was full of encouragement! Not only was she so complimentary about the music, she keyed right in on the anointing on the ministry and was so interested in me and our story. At that moment we connected, and Gloria became a dear and precious friend from that day forward.Gifted, gracious,encouraging,loving, selfless, totally sold out to her Savior.....in more than 40 years of ministry I've never met anyone like Gloria. She spoke and ministered at our Rehearsal Camps and for several years lived close by in Reedley where I was able to get her a job at the First Baptist Church. During those years our relationship deepened and Gloria went from "friend" to family. The loss to her family, friends, indeed the world is incalculable. The Lord has blessed millions through her amazing life and we're all poorer in her absence. Rest in peace, dear Gloria! You're home now.....with Jesus....exactly where we all long to be. Well done thou good and faithful servant! Dearest Family of Gloria...Rachel...my prayers are with you. I first met Gloria and Rachel at UBC where we enjoyed listening to their angelic voices and how sweet it was to hear Gloria play the piano. I know Gloria is singing in the angelic heavenly choir today. Our prayers are with you all.
